Christmas Krampus, Alternative Festive Decoration

Christmas Krampus, Alternative Festive Decoration

Beware the Christmas Krampus, stealthily waiting to steal naughty children away in his sack.

A horned and hairy, anthropomorphic beast recorded as early as 7th century, Krampus is most commonly found in the folklore from the deepest, darkest European Alpine forests.
Legend tells he visits children on Christmas eve alongside Saint Nicholas, and whilst the good receive gifts and blessings, the naughty receive a thrashing from Krampus’s birch rods, or worse, taken away in his sack never to return!

Krampus Night is still celebrated on the 5th of December, the day before his companion St. Nicholas's feast day on the 6th.

This charming Heirloom Krampus decoration comes with 3 naughty children already gathered up, so your kids will probably be alright.

Beautiful, limited edition and hand screen printed with 2 lovely shades of colourful inks, this beautiful decoration will certainly be a talking point this Christmas!

Lasercut on beautiful FSC certified Finnish birch plywood and hand polished with a layer of beeswax for protection.

Your Krampus measures approx 12cm x 11cm, and hangs approx 17cm including twine. Each of these beautiful gifts is one of a kind, a true piece of Art. The hand printing process means that no two prints will be the same. Please allow for slight colour and alignment differences from the image seen... this is the unique joy and beauty of screen printing!

If looked after these decorations will last a lifetime. Store in a cool dry place away from moisture. This item is fragile and should be stored flat and protected.
